What is Defensive Driving?
Defensive Driving is based on the Police Driving Manual “Roadcraft” which, as well as being the basis for Police Traffic Officer training, is also seen by many as the bible of the Advanced Driver.

Our Part Theory Part Practical one day course aims to give the delegates the basics of the Roadcraft “System of Vehicle Control” which introduces a planned approach to the driving task.

Delegates learn how to improve their observation, anticipation and planning so that the vehicle will always be in the right place on the road, at the right time, travelling at the right speed with the correct gear engaged and can always be stopped safely in the distance that can be seen to be clear.

It is common for experienced drivers to question the value of attending a course as they may think that they have little to learn. A good driver never stops learning.
